Our Kitchen Table Refurbish Resining a table to cover nicks and scratches.
I went from creating jewelry and small baubles to launching this project. I watched copious versions of people resining tables, countertops, and all things to get a good idea of what the process was.
I was pretty nervous about getting resin everywhere as I did this project in mid-may, and between the weather and worrying about stray particles ending up in the finish, I resined it where it was. I just used several drop cloths.
I really liked how it turned out. It was a fun learning experience. Not sure what I’ll resin next!
Mica Powder –
I used the Whites and the two blues and some of the green
I used this heat gun to get rid of the surface air bubbles.
